Well lets get ready for another boring ass NBA finals. SA Sterns and the Detroit Pistons. Boring ass walk it down heavy defense basketball. When are we going to finally do something to make the NBA finals fun again.
The last 9 NBA champs have been The Spurs, The Lakers, The Heat, and The pistons. Almost the same styles heavy Defense and just enough offense to win teams. Yet every year some run and gun fast paced offensive team has an amazing regular season and can't get it done in the playoffs.
Whats wrong with the system? I just don't know, but Stern needs to fix it.

A few good games here & there thus far, but yr right . . . we're pretty much doomed with these four (barring some Laker Showtime revival).
What's wrong w/the system? I'll take a shot . . .
First refs (generally) started letting defenders use both hands, then more. Then, for the sake of balance, the offense was allowed to get away w/that hop-step, to change pivot feet, to push back, etc. The game got uglier & uglier (& slower). Then in the playoffs they're even less inclined to blow the whistle. And so games end in the 70s-80s. Snoozerama.
